What is n8n?
n8n is a workflow automation platform you can run in the cloud or self-host on your own infrastructure. It connects your business apps like Zapier or Make does, but adds source-available code, custom code steps, and built-in LangChain nodes for building AI agent workflows. That combination makes it popular with teams that need data control, complex logic, or AI automation beyond what no-code platforms offer.
Is n8n cheaper than Zapier?
Often, yes, especially at high task volumes. n8n prices by workflow execution rather than by individual task, so a workflow with many steps can cost far less to run at scale, and self-hosted n8n removes per-execution platform fees entirely (you pay for your own infrastructure instead). For low-volume automation, Zapier's simplicity frequently outweighs the savings. We'll run the comparison on your actual volumes before recommending either.
Can you migrate my Zaps to n8n?
Yes. Zapier-to-n8n migration is one of our core services. We inventory your existing Zaps, map every trigger, action, filter, and edge case, then rebuild each workflow natively in n8n, with error handling and documentation, rather than attempting a fragile one-to-one copy. We run old and new workflows in parallel during cutover so nothing breaks mid-migration, and as a Zapier Platinum Solution Partner we know exactly what your Zaps are doing under the hood.
Do you support self-hosted n8n instances?
Yes. We build workflows on both n8n Cloud and self-hosted instances, and we provide setup and maintenance guidance for self-hosting, deployment, updates, backups, and credential security. Self-hosting is the right choice for teams with data-residency or compliance requirements, or those running volumes where platform fees add up. If you'd rather not manage infrastructure, n8n Cloud gets you most of the benefits without the ops work.
How much does n8n consulting cost?
We work in fixed-price projects, not monthly plans. Every engagement, whether a workflow build, a Zapier to n8n migration, or self-hosting setup, is scoped to your needs and quoted upfront before any work begins. Projects start at a $2,500 minimum.
